Building on the success of our partnership at the AMRC with Boeing, we will be supporting RBM Di Battistutta at the MACH Exhibition in Birmingham for the official launch of IFDR precision filtration solutions to the UK market. Come and visit us in Hall 5, stand 5036, April 7th to 14th, to see the technology at first hand and learn of the benefits realised by those who have installed as a retrofit or new turn-key installation.
Enrico Battistutta, CEO and founder of RBM and IFDR technology, is keen to build on the successful site trials already undertaken in the UK - “It is important for us to demonstrate the simplicity of this technology at MACH, so we can share the functionality of the solution and the benefits that can be achieved for the UK advanced manufacturing sector.”
RBM have installed over 70 IFDR solutions in varied advanced manufacturing applications, but the benefits have been consistent; increased productivity, reduced environmental impact, lower coolant purchase and disposal costs, reduced maintenance and downtime and perhaps most significantly improved tool life and component surface quality.
FMS and RBM will be demonstrating the complete fluid delivery solution, combining an IFDR400 model alongside the A-I swarf conveyor system.
Steve Thompson, Engineering Director for FMS, is clear on the benefits of IFDR technology, having worked with the AMRC and their partners in demonstrating this technology. “The cleaner a metalworking fluid being delivered to the cutting zone, the greater the machining performance and the lower the cost per part. IFDR achieves this simply, reliably and consistently”.
Maximising the cleanliness of the metalworking fluid is the primary function of an IFDR solution.
We look forward to seeing you at MACH 2014.
