IFDR launch at MACH 2014 a success

It’s official; the IFDR precision filtration solutions are well and truly launched to the UK market with great success at MACH 2014!

With demands on machine tool performance increasing, the need for consistent and reliable cutting fluid delivery is never more so important. IFDR’s have the proven capability to increase parts per tool, improve component surface quality and overcome the reliability issues, maintenance interventions and environmental impacts of traditional filtration and high pressure pump systems.

Enrico Battistutta, CEO and founder of RBM and IFDR technology, was delighted at the response from the wide range of customers at MACH who saw at first hand the simplicity of his technology.

The positive response to IFDR solutions was exactly what we had hoped for. Since establishing IFDR in 2006 our reputation and sales have flourished in our home market so we felt the time was right to introduce this technology, through our partnership with FMS, to the UK market”

IFDR solutions are a step change in technical capability and process reliability to maximise and maintain coolant cleanliness in high performance machining and grinding applications.

FMS Engineering Director, Steve Thompson, was not in the least surprised by the level of interest and requests for further information at MACH,

“As we enter into our 2nd year of partnership at The Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing where the capability of IFDR solutions has been established, we were delighted to formally launch this technology from RBM to the UK market.”

Whilst IFDR solutions have proven to offer significant cost reductions to end users who have retro-fitted, equally, the supply as part of a new turn-key installation will help maintain best in class performance from the first cut and eliminate the risks of less capable filtration systems.

FMS are now embarking upon a busy period, following up and specifying this universal solution for the many varied applications encountered during the 5 day event at Birmingham.
